The bulk of the water losses will be discovered when the thaw comes and the ice split sprinkler cut loose. Some of the collapse claims are still to be turned in, as well. In some of the areas where ice and snow collapse claims will be prevalent the roads are still impassable. I would kick it into high gear making sure you keep your name in front of the folks who deploy independents and wait for the work to come in. In my experience, far fewer people are called in for winter storms, but those who get the work tend to have lots of work ahead of them. It was my bread and butter for years and far more consistent (but somewhat less profitable) work than hurricanes or hail storms.

There will be work, but you have to let the vendors know you are ready to go do it. It will be a while before claims come in, thawing will cause water lines to leak. No need rushing up there now, too much ice is still there.
