The Photo Gallery is back online and you can now upload photos.  The problem with the login has been corrected, thanks for the feedback Tom.

All visitors are invited to add their photos of damage or show off your rigs and pets in the "On The Road" album.  We also have an album titled "On The Job" for photos of adjusters doing their job, so get your partner to snap a photo of you working a claim and upload it. Just login and you will see a "Add New Photo" link.

The Photo Gallery is located here >> http://catadjuster.org/Home/PhotoGallery.aspx

    Sorry for the trouble.

OK, I added an "on the job" photo.
How do you insert a photo on the forum? the "upload" link does not seem to work. I created a directory but cannot upload an image to that directory...

The only way I have been able to insert a photo in a forum post has been to use a hosting service like "imageshack" and link to the image in a post.
Just trying to use the functions of the forum software and can't seem to get it to happen...

    Bob,

I have been looking into the problem, and I guess there is a problem because I could not add a photo using this test account. It should be easy to do just by using the "attachments" and then insert into post. I thought it was working at one time.

This support forum has different features than the main forum.

I still cannot "insert image" or figure out how to upload images to a directory that I created with the other forum software.

The only way I have ever been able to put images in the forum is to link to an external site.
I realize your hands may be tied by the forum software, and security issues.

    Bob,

Can you upload a photo in this support area?
In the other forums I use a thrid party "text editor" it has all of the icons at the top of the message box.  I removed it from the support forum to see if it was the problem and when I did I was able to upload the photos without any problems.

Do you see the Attachment area below the message box?  This area can be used to handle your attachments.

What I do is use the Browse button to locate the photo and the upload to add it as a attachment, then click on the "plus" sign under the Insert Image and it plus it in the message area.

How big are the photos you are trying to upload? The size limit for this forum is 500 kb, I can adjust this and believe I have in some of the other areas.

I would like to get it working for all users.  We have plenty of space to use.

Yeah, that worked fine (in this part of the site).
I tried that a few weeks ago on the main forum, and the only result I was able to get was a clickable link that said "attachment"

I was not trying to upload any large images, I reduce the pixel size and make sure they are under 100k file size.

I cannot get this feature to work in the regular forum threads.

I still have to link to an outside URL from image-shack in this thread: http://www.catadjuster.org/Forums/t...aspx#13559
on roof safety, and I was curious how Kevin was getting his images in there - he is linking to a different service (Photobucket) and we can't seem to upload & insert from within this site...

Just FYI, I'm not complaining. Might see more photos from others if it was easier to do.

    Bob,

I changed text editors to test the add photo using the Attachments options and it seems to be working for me at this time.  Can you test it.  There is a trade off using this text editor in options but they may not be missed.

This forum is now using the same settings as the main disicussion area.

Test adding photos using a non-admin account and the built-in "Attachments" options.

    Chuck,

I did not see a photo in your post. Does this mean you cannot add photos using the "Add Reply" and the "Attachments"?

I replied and used the "attachment" feature. The photo appeared to attach. I submitted the reply and the photo is not attached.

OK Roy, it is working now on the other forum threads like this one I just uploaded a photo:
    http://www.catadjuster.org/Forums/t...aspx#13575
Before today, I could click on the "attachment" link, browse to an image, select it, but it simply could not be "inserted".

Now it is working: Browse -> Upload -> wait a moment for it to finish and appear as a selectable item -> click the "insert image" icon.

Looks like Chuck was able to upload his photo there as well.

This is a test attachment.  Yes, it's my car.  Yes, you can touch it.  Yes, I drive it a lot.

    Pretty swanky

Can't say the same for your choice in footwear, though
