Is it better to start as staff adjuster and go thru their training or to go pay for my own training classes and try to go independent from the start?

looking for some feedback as to the best/fastest way to get up and going.

    Thanks in advance.

Good question. I'm a newbie as well and I'd like to read some opinions on it as well.

This has been a common question and has been answered many times, you can dig in and find lots of opinions.
There are two school of thoughts. Some would prefer to jump in the Cat asap and try for the big money, other believe that staff work is great training and will make you a better adjuster.
Also a real adjuster (as opposed to someone who has never done anything but inspections and estimates) can handle any loss thrown at them.
I am of the school that company time is good training
I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers.
