I've gotten my license, gotten on the roster with Pilot and Eberls scheduled to go to Dallas for Eberls SF Auto Adjuster test the 25th.  Now do you think it would also be beneficial to go to Eberls conference in Dallas the 14th, 2-day course on Auto Adjusting for inside work available, which is where I want to end up for now.  i.e....call center.?  Also waiting on drug test results with Pilot and then will schedule trip to Mobile for their 8-day auto training and eval.  Just wondering if the conference would be worth the extra 1600 driven miles to schmooze with Eberl corporate?  Got till Monday to book the conference so any response appreciated.  Also, i have an Uncle who is an IA for Eberls and have did a shadowing trip with him to just get an idea of how it all works on the auto side cat work.

I wouldn't attend the conference. However, you never know who you may meet that could help you get your foot in the door. I've obtained 11 different licenses over the last year which includes NY. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for work. I have State Farm certification for auto and fire and I am on several company rosters. Good luck.
