I just upgraded to 28 about a week ago, and am finding a lot of bugs in it.  Has anyone else found this problem?  I am wondering if it is my install that was defective, or if the whole program is like this.  I am especially having problems with the GLR and changing the deductible.

Xactimate's tech support is excellent through chat. I suggest that.

If this is an option, I would revert to an older version of Xact, let others iron out the bugs and then go back to it in about a year.

I have installed version 28 on many laptops and one thing I have noticed that has an impact on 28 is the version of .Net your laptop has. In many cases once I upgraded the .Net on the laptop many of the issues went away. The latest version of .Net is version 4, you can check your version by going to the Add Remove Programs section of the Control Panel. You can get the latest version of .Net here >> http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down...x?id=17851

I updated my Windows and the Xactimate 28 version, and the problems appear to be resolved.   We will see.
