When I first got my License back in 2008. The whole reason I got my license was to one day work as a IA. Little bit about me I have worked for a couple of Carriers including Geico, Crawford & CO. and a few others and have worked as a Daily claim adjuster for about 4 years now. I am currently licensed in all states requiring a license. and also have been trained on xactimate. Before getting my license I worked at an architect firm sketching rooms and roofs. My questions is for someone like me wanting to take a nose dive into it what should I expect and what should my next step be? Any tips?

    .....................................................

Please clarify, in your first sentence you claim you obtained "A" license in 2008. You then state below that you are licensed in all states that require a license. Well, which is it? 1 license or approx. 32?

    OR

might it be that you hold a Texas All-Lines adjuster's license reciprocal in UP to 32 states?

Now I know what your "questions is," yet let me ask you a couple things:

Working daily claims for Crawford, being that they are one of the premier IA firms, they didn't have any ideas  for one of their daily claims adjusters wanting to jump into the CAT world?

On the chance that you may have been working Auto or even UPS claims (NOT property) for Crawford, have you considered submitting your resume' to Independent Adjusting firms, that would be a good start.

I and many others are more than willing to help almost anyone, but please address the questions above first.
