    Thanks.

I'm sure all the vets appreciate it.  I know I do.

    Thanks again

Yes, we all owe a lot to our veterans and to our Military as a whole. Thanks for doing that Roy.

I can tell you, from experience, that until you stand, in a national cemetery. in winter dress blues, on a cold, wet rainy day, listen to another enlisted man play taps, watch as a folded Stars and Stripes, a Stars and Stripes recently removed from a casket, is presented to a young widow, a young widow with bewildered children tugging at her dress and crying parents by her side, then fired your weapon in salute as that casket, escorted from a foreign battlefield, is lowered into a grave, you know little of the sacrifice of our military men and their families.

There are veterans, men my age, who consider it an honor to wash and clean that Black Stone Memorial dedicated to those who lost their lives in combat, half a world around, Vietnamese veterans and do it on a regular basis. I encourage everyone to go stand and touch that black stone monolith and read those names, heros all.

I am with you on that one Chuck. I have a lot of friends who have given their lives so we can all enjoy the freedom we have now.
