Greetings guys.  I've been searching the forum for information regarding commercial adjusting classes,  but having no luck.  Do any of you folks know of any schools that teach commercial classes?   I learned of one up north,  like in Indiana,  and sent an e-mail,  but never got a reply.

Thanks in advance for any help.  Hope all had a safe holiday season.

    Bud

What is it that you want to know about Commercial insurance?

There are adjusters that frequent this page that could write a book. The least expensive way is to take CE course or enroll in Crawford's online classes.

It can't be too difficult, I work commercial claims................LOL

Chuck,  thanks for the reply.   I thought there was a sort of "commercial certification"???    I've  done enough of it to know that there are many different components, as far as building materials, that would not apply to residential.  I just thought that a commercial course would help me with terminology, etc. and perhaps help my marketability.

Developing a reputation for being a heavy commercial adjuster takes years, some of it is luck and some is knowledge and wide based ability.

The least expensive way to develop knowledge is to subscribe to internet based courses that are intended for CE credits. Go to these seminars that vendors put on and sit thru the commercial classes. For example, in 2012, I went to two Crawford sponsored seminars and I am a member of the Zurich Rapid Response team. I am also Scottsdale commercial certified and I am a National General Adjuster with two different TPA's. At the moment I am working as a commercial examiner. Crawford, the largest vendor, also has a comprehensive course, for about a grand, that will cover the learning bases.
