    Hi Michael,

I was visiting the other post you listed and it seems to have gone astray from the question at hand. You do need to take the licensing class for the All Lines Adjuster License. There are classes offered on line or in the class room. On the FLDLS site there should be a link somewhere for certified classes or schools. I did it in the reverse, adjuster license then Life, Health & Annuity. I am in Seminole, across the bridge. Good luck. Ann

Is this some kind of 'Zick' joke?  Has to be!
If you really want help start by reading and using some of the suggestions generated by your last post.

    Michael,

Let me make this plain. You don't start out as a general adjuster. Period.

If you mean an all lines adjuster, let us know. If you mean you want to know how to set out on a path that may lead to you being a general adjuster twenty years from now, let us know. Then we might be able to help. If you believe you are going to become a general adjuster out of the starting gate, I hope your file doesn't cross my desk with the designation "general adjuster" under your name.

Just a suggestion...why don't you call Marc Dubois and ask him your question?

Or you could contact the National General Adjuster Association to ask your question. Here's the link.

    www.ngadjust.com/about

I'd like to know what your definition of a general adjuster is so we can know the intent of your question. Just to give you an idea how terms might be used differently from normal usage, here's what would be considered an "average adjuster". Actually "average adjusters" are relatively rare. Here's the link.

    www.average-adjusters.com

It's possible that I may actually aspire to be an "average adjuster" some day.  It's the only area where I might be satisfied with merely being average.

There's my serious answer to what may not even be a serious question.

    Whew,

You sure came out of the gate like Barbero Steve.

Guess you are tired of the same ol BS posts as we all are. Perhape he will get the message. When he can determine what ALE/FMV/APST/TIV/and IBNR mean then he can ask again. LOL

In all fairness to Michael, he has not been heard from since

his first and only flurry, January 22nd, almost two weeks ago.

The comment today was from Ann Pici in which she tried to answer

the question she though he was trying to ask at that time.

But it never hurts to review the meaning of the term,

"general adjuster," and Steve certainly did that with

enthusism and plenty of straight talk.

On several occasions i have seen the veterans reply to newbie questions criticizing there spelling, "use spell check, proof read for typos etc". Guy you were the first one to reply to Michaels post in the other thread, and advised him to learn to use spell check and so on. Well, how about you? Learn to use it. Come on guys, we all make these mistakes. Yet i do not see all the vets bounding each others typing mistakes. SIGH, well got that off of my chest

Good to hear  from you GW. No, I was not the first one to

reply to Michael in the other  tread. I replied after he had

been slapped silly. And when I did reply to him I defended

him and got a lot of grief for it.  And I mean a lot of grief.

Read the thread again. I mentioned spell checker only in

my opposition to his ill-treatment.  How do things get so

tangled up? I agree with most of your  points.

And yes I made a typo in my last comment, but it could be

easily figured out from the context. We all make them. That

    has been my point.

Drink up Shriners and let's keep it real.

Guy, you are right, you were not the first poster. Apologies to you. But, you did bring up a good point here, being that your typo could be figured out in the context. I have been able to figure out what every poster with a typo meant to say, and likely so does every one reading it. Just tends to make me think these are persons looking to find anything negative to say about ones post, yet fully acceptable when someone with a certain status make these mistakes.

    GW,

I really did think you had all the veteran adjusters bounding each other. I was trying to figure out if that was a bondage reference or whether you pictured us playing a game of leap frog together.

I usually hit the edit button at the top row of my posts when I discover that I created a typo. That way the typo doesn't stay out there for all to see. For instance, the Snappish One could easily hit the edit button on his last post and change the word "tread" to "thread". Then future readers of the post would never know that he inadvertantly erred.

One thing my Father taught me many years ago was, "do a job right, or find another one that you can do right". I agreed with him. Oldies or newbies, it is important to spell right and have some semblance of proper grammar. Just like proper scoping, you are what you write and your writing is the end result of your knowledge. I have no fear of someone correcting my grammar or spelling, that is just a link to an improvement in knowledge
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
