Thanks Ray for sending me the file. It appears to be done in MSB, but I almost never use that software. Just a few questions- total roof (shingles) replacement doesn't need a separate line item for ridge cap, flashings, etc? (can't see if there's drip edge). does MSB include ridge cap in the basic shingle line item? no allowance for mildewcide? Allowing for mildewcide (pennies) may avoid problems later- that's how big red taught me no waste allowance on the carpet? It's hard to tell the real waste without doing "drop and roll" an a floor plan (missing), but shouldn't there be some waste allowance? no debris disposal? How does the waste get to the landfill? There's going to be 3 rooms of carpet and pad thrown out, drywall, fence posts with concrete, and roofing. Does MSB include the trash disposal in the line items? Permits not required for re-roof? Should it at least say "as incurred"? I didn't see anything about the board up cost. There's a plywood board covering a window. Did the insured do that himself with his own no-cost plywood? Also it looks like some depreciation was applied to tear out labor.... is that the Texas way? Just some questions, I don't know MSB or TWIA very well so I may be way off base.... I also looked through it real quick, may have missed something...
