I am sad to report a friend of ours and a fellow adjuster, Michael Stueart lost his twin brother to a ladder accident. Michael's e-mail to us is as follows:
An update for those of you who may not have heard, My twin brother Mitchell fell from the 2nd or 3rd step on a 6 ft step ladder on Wed 24th. He hit his head when he fell and suffered brain damage that he could not recover from. He was taken off the ventilator on Monday 29th and passed away that evening. Mitchell was 40 years old and I will miss him alot. Our older brother Randy passed away 10 years ago, so as you can imagine my parents are devastated. Please keep us in your prayers.
Michael's e-mail address is stueartm@aol.com if you desire to send your condolences. Another sad day for adjuster's.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss, our prayers go out to you and your family. What a tragedy.

Sorry for your loss. I have a twin brother and know how close you can be.
This is a reminder to me that a helmit is a good idea when on a ladder - one of the mountain climbing type or even a bicycle helmit. One wouldn't think it would be needed for a short ladder, but it could have saved his life.
