I have just found this website, it is great, and I and am looking for some one to chat with about getting started. I have been an estimator /adjuster for ten years and have always been interested in Cat work. I think I am ready to take the leap. Please respond with your top ten tips on getting started.

Tip 1: Go thru the CADO archives, newbie stuff, and the current Fire Scene Investigation thread, reading all the suggested articles. While Fire is heavy-duty work, the basics are, well, basic.
