Dent Wizard and Ding King also have an estimating system as well. There are more and more coming available due to the growth of our industry. Most PDR technicians are going after the dent estimators one. Our company subcontract's to Dent Wizard, the largest PDR company, sometimes and use their insurance guide pretty much accross the country. Being in the business for 10 years I, myself, go off the top of my head and are usually right in line with all insurance companies. Any questions please e-mail me. |

As a 10 year collision tech, 16 year insurance estimator, I can say I am greatly impressed with Dent Estimators software. I have found it to be very fair. I am able to please 95 % of the PDR techs I work with. I have trained at PDQ for PDR but, still need years more practice to master the art. DE gives me the knowledge of a vast data base of info to rely on. I do believe that in a few short years this will be the standard estimating system for PDR, and we can say bye bye to those drillers / hackers lump pricing sheets that are a joke. The system flags you for aluminum, access considerations and take in to factor depth, just to name a few items that make me look good on my estimates. I have only ran into on PDR company that bad mouted DE. It was obvious that they had a ax to grind with anything to do with PDR that was not there's. ( they only wanted to use those drill sheets, Some people just can't see the train coming. Computers and the internet are just a fade to them. ) |
