Dwelling Wind
No Comments Yet

In this area we will provide a sample assignment which will be completed online. The information related to the risk and DOL are fictional however, the policy and endorsements are real.   We plan to do this for flood and earthquake losses as well. We will only be using resources that can found on the web. One objective of this exercise is to promote discussion related to file handling and hopefully in the end have a file completed using best practices. We may be looking for volunteers to serve as the insured, contractor, re inspector and examiner. I have created some online to tools like CADOgrams and a Building valuation tool (beta) and have additional tools in the works to aid with this assignment.

Scenario: you have been deployed to Texas to handle claims from TS Bertha which hit the Texas coast south of Corpus Christi on 7/1/2008.  Before you arrive on site you will need to review the policy and endorsements.
