As some of you know our Worley office building sustained damage during Katrina. We had been contemplating a move to higher ground and this pushed us to make our decision a little sooner than we had planned. We sold our former building and have been working out of rented space in Hammond, LA.
I‘m proud to announce that the new Worley office and training complex has taken a step closer to fruition. We have purchased a tract of land near exit 31 on I-55 North, in Hammond, Louisiana; the site has been cleared and filled and all permits secured. We are hoping to start construction in the next week or so. Tentative completion date for the new training center (25,000 sf +/-) is July 2007 with the administration building (12,000 sf +/-) shortly thereafter. (We all know how schedules go) I invite you all to stop by and see the progress when you are in the area. Until then we will continue to run our operations and training at our temporary site in Hammond, LA (around the corner from the new site). |
