Re: Passwords  (United States)

Roy,

Auto login is still not working properly for me.  Sometimes it saves, but other times it does not.  I appreciate all you do!!!

Re: Passwords  (United States)
She's right.  It worked the one time I tried it.  But each time I've come back after a period of time, I have to re-login.

Re: Passwords  (United States)
I'm still looking for a solution. I know it works for me under the account I use for testing.  Right now I have the cookies about as loose as I can get them but I still hope to find a solution for all users.

Re: Passwords  (United States)
I conducted a test on the login about hour ago and if you visited the site during this test period you may have received a Login Box and when your login did not work a "access denied" page.  Your login was not changed. The test only lasted for about 10 minutes. Sorry for the error.

Modified By host on 11/28/2006 8:07:43 AM)

Elliott, the reason your login could not be found was because it was not transfered when I moved the user database on 10//6/2006.  About 2000 accounts were not transfered because either the first name, last name or both fields did not contain any data.

Also for all users that have not logged in yet who's accounts were transferred a password reset was required. So if a visitor tries to login using their regular user name and password from the old system (this applies to all accounts created prior 10/6/2006) they will notice that it will not work and will need to use the Forgot Password option to get the new password.  Some visitors do not use the Forgot Password link because they take it literally to mean that they have forgotten their password. Of this is not the case it's just that the password has been changed and using the link will send the new password to their registered email address.  Sorry for the trouble.

Roy

Re: Passwords  (United States)
I have been testing the cookie problem.   I logged in with a test account five days ago after making a change in the cookie writer and I have not had to login since.  Could anyone confirm that the remember login is working or tell me if they are still having problems.

Re: Passwords  (United States)

Roy,

Login has been working for me for at least 4 days.  Thanks for all your work to make that happen.
