The steps below will help you transfer your resume that was added to old resume hosting system to the new system. Any resume added prior to 10/1/2006 was added to the old system.
This method uses MS Word and Internet Explorer (IE) and will give you a Word document that you can update and upload to the new system.
- First locate your old resume by using the Resume search, here is a link to the search page; http://www.catadjuster.org/rsearch.asp just enter your last name in the search box and click Search. ( Image 1)
- Once you have located your resume, right click and select "copy shortcut" from the menu. All resumes will have a url like http://www.catadjuster.org/mycado/showresume.asp?ID=XXXX where the XXXX is the ID number. (Image 2)
- Open MS Word on your laptop or PC.
- In Word use the File - Open... command, and then paste the URL of the page that you want to save into Word's File name: box. If you cannot paste enter the address as shown in step 2 above and replace the XXXX with your ID number. Click open to convert the html document to a word document. (Image 3 and 4)
- Once your resume is loaded select the file and save as a Word document, replace the "showresume" name with your name. (Images 5, 6, 7 and 8)
- Now you have your old resume in Word format that you can update and upload to the current Resume system.

Now you are ready to add your Resume to the new hosting system where you can upload the resume you just updated.
