Looking for solid help

Extremely excited to work in this industry. Aside from applying to individual companies and subscribing to all career sites, can anyone further help with breaking into this industry as a trainee? I have a BA and a commercial appraiser license. Thank you, Matt....MBLAWRENCE1@GMAIL.COM

Matt, I totally understand. I have been applying and even emailing friends and other Adjusters for advice, no help. It appears it will be a very hard field to get into, but keep trying right? I don't think the companies even care about how much experience you have had or what degree you may have. They want to see the experienced ones in Adjusting first. I even have 18 years real estate experience and tremendous experience in working for builders and developers. I would even pay for all my training. I feel I would be a great asset to a company, but they don't see it either. . Let's just keep our chins up and hopefully we will have the opportunity arise. I'm not a quitter, I know I will get there. Good luck, If I hear of anything, I will shoot you an email, please do the same. thanks.

Matt,

I am registered to begin my long journey of getting into the industry as well. I noticed your post was from a few month ago, have you been able to make any headway? I was all excited about getting into after talking to an experienced adjuster that works a lot with Eberil's and is a retired adjuster from State Farm, but after finding this sight, I am a little discouraged to say the least. Any thoughts? thanks.
