Objective: To obtain an Outside Field Adjuster assignment with a respected Insurance Claims company. Last Assignment: Recognized as a property specialist and for my expertise in handling claim disputes, my last assignment was settling the thousands of FIGA claims for The Specialty Group Inc. My duties included settling Hurricane, water loss, and “daily” claims that were in dispute and/or were unresolved between several different Insurance carriers that became insolvent and their respective insured’s. Some of these assignments dated back to Hurricane Jeanne. This assignment alone, I had the signature authority of up to $50,000 from FIGA. Work Experience: My overall experience started over 25 years ago as a General Building Contractor and Subcontractor on Residential and Commercial/Industrial projects. This experience is a real benefit to any Insurance adjusting company that utilizes my services. My experience as an Independent Insurance Adjuster started in 2003 with Hurricane Isabel. My experiance ranges from Examiner, Team lead, Trainer and Field Adjuster. I have worked every Hurricane since Hurricane Isabel in Virginia to Hurricane Wilma in Florida. Over the years I have settled claims for Northern Neck Insurance Co., Sentry, Farmers, Shelter, Citizens, Texas USAA, Florida USAA and TWIA Insurance companies. During the Hurricane off season, If I am not developing my own Construction projects, I am out working Hail storms and Tornado damage in the Midwest. Other losses include Large Losses from California Wild Fires and heavy rains/mud slides in Northern California. Computer Qualifications: I am extremely experienced with the Xactimate estimating software. I have excellent proficiency in the following computer programs- MS Word, Xactimate, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint. I am capable of producing files either electronically or paper. Other Valuable Assets: Im a self motivated individual and am able to provide excellent customer service using my outstanding time management, verbal and written communication skills. I am completely equipped with the tools that are necessary to perform field work. I have a Motor Home that is fully self-contained and ready to be deployed on a moments notice.
